In this short tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to change the width of text using html. An example of when you may be interested in doing this would be on your homepage or on sliders, as can be seen on our homepage slider at WPforall.com . We wanted to maintain a left justified paragraph of text, but wanted to be sure that the image would not get in the way of the text.
If you play around with the window size, the text width maintains the same proportion. The following code was added to achieve the above results:
The functionality of the code is in line 1, where we can specify the width in percentage. If we wanted to specify the width in pixels, simply change line 1 to:
